Yugoslav Farmer’s Gift

Mr Matos, a national of Yugoslavia, who has been a resident in the Dominion for over 16 years, farming in the Waikato district, generously donated 50 bales of wool to be handed over to the Yugoslav Red Cross at Belgrade. This will be spun into fabric and will be made up to provide warm clothing for the women and children in that country. Purchase and shipment of the wool were attended to by the Red Cross and the 50 bales have gone forward. On arrival at Port Said they will be taken over by the League of Red Cross Societies and shipped to the Yugoslav Red Cross at Belgrade.
