Liquor Supplied To Natives
Thomas Richard Quinn was fined £2, costs 16s for unlawfully supplying liquor to a native on January 6. Tutu Kororeko,' the Maori concerned, was fined £2, With 21s costs, for assisting in the commission of the offence.
Harold Fraser, Peter Rewi and Hine Bluett, all convicted of aiding or assisting persons unknown to supply ljquor to natives, were fined £2 each, costs- 15s in Fraser’s case and £1 in each of the other cases.
Wandering Stock
Prosecuted by the County inspector, Mr A. Carling, for allowing horses to wander on a public road, Whetu Paraha Motutere was convicted and fined 30s with costs.
