Awakaponga Man Pleads Guilty To Two Indecent Assault Charges
Kenneth Spragg, railways employee from Awakaponga, who was arrested at Whakatane on Monday by Constable R: F. Julian, pleaded guilty before J’s P at Rotorua yesterday to two charges of indecently assaulting girls aged 12 and 11 years. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The offences were alleged to have occurred at Rotorua on Christmas Day, when the accused gained the children’s confidence by representing himself as a Health Inspector.
