Whakatane Bowlers Win Coveted Tin-Hat
The annual Tin-Hat Bowling tournament conducted by the Whakatane R.S.A., on Sunday was the most successful ever held.
Finalists out of the large number of teams competing were both from Whakatane. The winners of the “Tin Hat” were Oswald (s), King, Cockerell and Bullot who defeated Head (s), Shapley, Davis and Anstis B—2. Other details:—
