Whakatane And Taneatua Now All Square In Bowling Shield Play
The second match of a series of three, for the Whakatane-Taneatua bowling shield was played on the Whakatane Club’s bowling greens on Saturday. Four teams of senior players per side took part and honours for the day went to Whakatane. The first game of the series' was won by Taneatua, so the third and final game, to be played later, V|ill decide which club holds the shield for the next' year. A “feathers” match between the colts of botk clubs was also won by Whakatane."
