“Snoek”—New Fish Dish
A new dish is to appear on Britain’s meel. tables early this year - canned snoek. Snoek is a large fish caught in the coastal waters of the Cape of Good Hope. Mr Strachey, Food Minister, announced at a Press conference that 10,000,000 cans of snoek are to be imported from South Africa.
