Awards made by Massey Agricultural College for 1947 include the Sir James Wilson medal (for the leading student in the sheepfarming course) to M. A. Waller (Auckland), and a Diploma in Agriculture (sheep farming option) to W. R. Fell (Ohoeawai, Bay of Islands).
