Whakatane Bowlers Win Opotiki Tournament
Last week-end a contingent from the Whakatane Bowling Club went to Opotiki for the Opotiki Club’s open tournament, providing the winning team* Henderson (s), McLeod, McKenzie, Bullot. Teams v Taneatua The following Whakatane Bowling Club teams will play Taneatua in a Shield match at Whakatane on Saturday at 1.45 p.m.: Loane (s), Anderson, Oswald, Cockerell; Littlejohn (s), McKenzie, Howat Jnr., Shapley; Good (s), Mclsaac, Drube, Sims; Luxton (s), McLeod, Dixon, J. Wilson. Feathers Team: Duley (s), Johnstone, Jarrett, Cook.
