Annual “Tin-Hat” Bowling Tournament On Sunday
The annual Tin-Hat bowling tournament, conducted by the local R.S.A. is being held at the Whakatane Bowling greens., next Sunday. Visiting teams' ' from Tauranga, Te Puke, Rotorua, Opotiki and Taneatua, will be competing. A change from the usual has been made this year by the Wellington headquarters of the R.S.A., whereby the winning teams from each bowling centre in New Zealand will compete in the R.S.A. championships in Wellington next month.
