New School Bus For Galatea Promised By Education Board
That a sfeparate school bus would be available for Galatea, and would probably be ready for delivery in time for the re-opening of 'schools, was the text of a letter from the Education Board, read at the last Galatea School Committee meeting. £ocal residents regard this as a brilliantly successful conclusion to a campaign launched three years ago by the School Committee then in office. Pursued with tenacious determination by the present committee, with left and right flanks covered admirably by the thrusts of the Murupara-Galatea R.S.A. and the Murupara Chamber of Commerce, this accomplishment will prove a big step in the progress of Galatea.
