Meeting of Eastern Bay Federation’s Executive

A meeting of the executive committee of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Federation of Women’s Institutes was held in .Whakatane on February 12. Mrs Armstrong presided. Corespondence and routine business were- dealt with. Delegates to the conference were appointed, Mrs Mayo to represent the Executive, and Mrs Caverhill as Voluntary Organiser. It was decided that the Eisteddfod should be held on April 14 and the annual Council meeting on April 16, both at Whakatane. The drama festival is to be held earlier this year, probably about the middle of July. The meeting decided that the postponed Home Industries Show should be held in September, the cut flower section to be revised.
