Tauranga Show Abandoned
The Executive Committee of the Tauranga Agricultural and Pastoral Association has decided to abandon .the surryner show for the 1948 season. In ' advising members, exhibitors, judges, stewards and supporters of its decision, the committee has expressed deep regret that this course of action has become necessary. At a meeting in December 1947, the committee decided to postpone the summer show usually held on January 29. As the epidemic shows no sign of abating, the summer show has been abandoned for 1948.
