Sugarless Preserving

To preserve sound ripe fruit without using sugar, fill dry bottles with fruit and heat in a slow oven until no moisture remains, then cover fruit with boiling water and seal quickly by pouring on half an inch of paraffin wax. When wax is set, cover closely, and keep iri a cool dry place. Add sugar as for fresli fruit, when required for use.
