For the benefit of the many farmers who have been inquiring as to the break-up of the guaranteed price structure 1947-48 season, the Auckland Province of Federated Farmers of N.Z., has thought it advisable to publish this general information: —
Interest on Capital 3.240 pence per pound; Farm Working and Maintenance Costs 10.011; Labour Reward 14.196; Total Farm Costs 27.447; Less standard allowance for pigs 1.540; Basic butterfat price for butter '25.907; Differential for cheese 2; Basic butterfat price for cheese 27.907; Butter factory costs 3.133; Cheese factory costs 5.430; Basic price for butter 23.852; Basic price for butter 13.062.
