Ohope Progress League’s Highly Successful Dance

A very successful dance was held by the Ohope Progress League in the Whakatane Winter Show buildings last night. The floor was crowded, but the patrons still had a pleasant evening’s dancing. Mr Harry Armstrong was M.C. and the music of Harrison’s orchestra was a treat to dance to. ■ Women members of the League provided a very tasty supper. The dancing ended at an early hour this morning. Winners of the novelty dances, the Monte Carlo and the Spot Foxtrot were Miss A. Luttrell and Mr J. Murphy and Miss Jan Lodge and Mr Geof Crang.
