World Record Price For Southdown Ram
A world record price of 900gns. for a stud Southdown ram caused a sensation at the opening of the Wairarapa Stud Breeders’ annual ram fair at Solway last week. Opening at 300gns., the bidding -rose steeply for Mr R. M. Perry’s Kohatu 107/46, a beautifully even ram. The first bid was by Dalgety and Company, Palmerston North, as agents.
