Being naturally fond of horses, Mr Lance Skuthorpe, whose rodeo is in Wellington, took time off to visit Trentham for the yearling sales. He went only to look at the yearlings, but it was trap for horselovers. As a result of his Trentham trip he has added to his string of outlaws, bucking broncs and generally unmanageable steeds a thoroughbred bay colt. It cost him 625 guineas.
