Waimana Woman Falls fiver Bucket: Breaks Leg

Falling over a bucket at her home on Sunday morning, Mrs Hampton Snr., of Waimana, broke her leg and had to be admitted to the Whakatane District Hospital.

She is expected to remain in hospital for 10 days. When returning from feeding the fowls, Mrs Hampton stopped to pick flowers after placing the bucket behind her. Apparently not realising how close it was, she turned and stumbled over it, breaking her leg just below the knee..
