Whakatane Rowing Club’s Crews For Hamilton
The number of crews to be sent to the Hamilton Rowing -Regatta on January 31 to represent the Whakatane Rowing Club is the highest since before the war. Following are the seven crews, including the Junior fours, who have already won regatta honours:— No. 1 Youths Fours: P. Armstrong, M. Nicol,. S. Shapley, W. Sandham.
No. II Youths Fours: K. O’Rourke, K. Dines, M. WMttaker, M. Brown. Light Maiden Fours: D. Debreceny, A. Atkinson, J. Turpin, J. Hudson.
No. I Junior Fours: L. Carey, G. Dines, E. Hunt, G. Moore. * No. II Junior Fours: F. Price, K. Hollis, G. Henry, H Armstrong No I Heavy Fours: G Henry, K. Hollis, H. Armstrong, T. Reid. No. II Heavy Fours: L. Stewart, R. Morpeth, N. Goile, O. Taylor.
