Worth It!
A young man walked into an automobile showroom and saw just the streamlined model he’d like to own. “If I bought this car on the instalment plan,” he asked, “how long would it take me to pay for it?”
“That would depend on how much you could afford each month,” replied the salesman cautiously. “Well, I think I could manage £1 a month.”
A pound a month!” gasped the salesman. “At that rate, it would take 100 years.” With a look of happy anticipation, the young man replied: “So what? It’s worth it!”
