Was Accident Victim Robbed While “Out”?

There may not be anything in it. There may turn out to be quite an innocent explanation. But there are circumstances that seem to justify the suspicion that Mr L. F. McKenzie who was injured and admitted to hospital as the result of a bicycle accident on New Year’s Eve, was robbed as he lay unconscious on the roadside. Police are investigating, but reticent. A reward is being offered for an envelope containing a sum of money and a torch which are missing.. The loss may be accidental, but the circumstances seem to suggest it is not.
