State House Allocations To Ex-servicemen
During November a further 138 ex-servicemen were allocated tenancies of State rental' houses under the 50 per cent, allocation scheme for ex-servicemen of themecent war. At the end of November the number of ex-servicemen’s allocations amounted to 7692. Following are the district allocations, those for November being given in parentheses: Auckla*dNorth Auckland 2238 (36), WaikatoBay of Plenty 584 (6), Hawke’s BayPoverty Bay 331 (6), Taranaki 215 (4), Wellington Province 2766 (56), Nelson-Marlborough-Westland 171 (2), Canterbury Province 789 (18), Otago 435 (6), Southland 163 (4).
