Prompt Rescue When Child Falls Off Wharf
Prompt action by Mr J. Martin, of the Heads, prevented possible fatal consequences when Peggy, 12-years-old daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Williams, Whakatane, fell over the wharf on Thursday. Mr Martin dived in fully clad to drag the girl ashore none the worse for her ducking.
