Arrangements for the forthcoming Xmas Eve dance at the Winter Show Buildings were finalised at the December meeting of the Awakeri Young Farmers; Club. .The next Club meeirng' wilF bemn-. the-pecond Tuesday in January and a'field day is to be held on Mr McMahon’s property, James' Street, Whakatane, on January 10. At the conclusion of the business, K. Harnett, B. Brown and R. Wellbank each gave a short talk describing their recent visit to Ruakura Animal Research Station on its Y.F.C. demonstration day.
