Gifts To Hospital
Following are gifts to the district hospital'during November and acknowledged by the matron, Miss K. Miller, in her monthly report to the Board yesterday: Magazines, Mesdames Goodrick, Hawkin, Vitali, Combes, K. Francis, Litchwark, Messrs Brabant and C. A. Suckling, League of Mothers and an anonymous donor; children’s magazines and books, Mrs Combes, Miss Dawn Whiteside and Mr Brabant; flowers, Mrs Hawkins, Miss Black, League of Mothers, Awakeri Junior Red Cross; flower seeds, Mr Gurney, .Rotorua; lemons and oranges, Mrs A. Nicols and Messrs Bowditch, Murphy and W. Carter; Christmas cakes (baking and carting), Strand Bakery and Mr McCallion; lettuces, Mrs R. S. Mundy; concert tickets, Mrs Whiteside; tray cloths, Mrs E. Walker; scrap books and face cloths, Manawahe Women’s Institute; man’s gift set, League of Mothers; cakes, Mr Bell.
Miss Miller added that she would welcome gifts of fresh flowers for Christmas decorations.
