Avondale Spring Meeting The Concluding Day
' The Avondale Jockey Club’s Spring meeting will be brought to a conclusion on Saturday. The racing will be even more interesting than on the opening day consequent upon the inclusion of several good performers which did not race on Saturday last. Among the most fancied contestants will be:— Titirangi Handicap, First Division: Double Chance, Title. Second: Formata, Trench Meter. Three King’s Hurdles: Brantome, Kentish, King’s Ace. Rosebank Handicap, First Division: Beau Rosa, Distributor. Second: Ruling Prince, Gildchase. Foley Memorial: Royal Charter, Fox Fable, Precedency. Avondale Challenge Stakes: Sleepy Fox, Shirley Fox, Majesty. Sapling Handicap, First Division: Maricrana/ High Power. Second: Jolly Lass, Tranquil Lady. Mount Eden Handicap: Master Coronach, Morocco, Robin Leigh. Mount Roskili Handicap': Faultina, Wonder Boy, Distributor.
