Following are the officers elected at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce last evening:—
President, Mr R. T. Morpeth; vicepresident, Mr C. L. Jordan; secre-tary-treasurer, Mr N. Hockin; councillors, Messrs H. G. Warren, E. R. Dillicar, M. Lennie, H. F. Pearson, B. L. Butler, D. G. McCallum and A. E. Dykstra (Murupara); auditor, Mr R. B. Mollgaard; retailers subcommittee, Messrs R. T. Morpeth, E. A. Ramson, H. G. Warren, 'C. S. Armstrong, E. Bridger, P. J. Green and C. Hudson with Mr Hockin as secretary.
