Find Of Greenstone
What are believed to be valuable greenstone deposits have been found in the Lake Manapouri area by Mr Raymond Murrell. The deposits are reported to be north of Milford Sound, and at Poison Bay, seven miles south of Milford Sound. Mr Murrell has applied to the commissioner of Crown lands at Invercargill for permission to quarry the greenstone.
