V.A.D. Medallions Presented

On Tuesday night Mrs W. Sullivan, president of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Centre of the Red Cross Society presented V.A.D. Medallions to the following winners: Misses Jean Dunstan, Marjorie Reardon, Connie Schofield, Isobel Sullivan (all of whom are now married),' Mesdames Coutts, Trindall and F. Stewart. Misses Elsie and Francis and May Fife (now Mrs Rowson) were also entitled to medallions but were unable to be present.

Amongst those present were Mrs E. Armstrong, Commandant Red Cross V.A.D., Mrs F. Prideaux, Lady Superintendent, members of the Detachment and of St. John Nursing Division. Mrs Armstrong gave three elocutionary items.
