Whakatane Golf Club’s Season Closes Tomorrow

The Four-ball Aggregate Stableford played on the Whakatane links last Saturday provided an interesting competition. Results follow: L. and T. Burke 66 points;. L. Roach and N. Hockin 66 points; L. and A. Cradwick 61; E. Dawson and W. Syme 60; S. Spence and R. Pattison 59. The leading scores in the Ringer competition which ran through the season and closed last Saturday were:—N. Ducker 52—44 —472-; L. D. Luxton 56—5 J I. A. Wylds 53_2—51. The official closing of the season will take place tomorrow with mixed Canadian Foursomes Medal of 18 holes and the prize-giving ceremony at 4.30 p.m. Members of all clubs are cordially invited. *
