Auckland Racing Club’s Mid-Spring Meeting

Racing will be resumed at Ellerslie on Saturday, the occasion being the mid-spring meeting, for which good fields are assured throughout. With a better conditioned course, consequent upon finer weather the racing should be highly interesting. Among the contestants strongly favoured by investors will be:—

Alison Cup: Foxwyn, Silver Lighting, Ascot Lad. Cambria Handicap: Tauloch, Mignonette, Mauricana. Takapuna Handicap, First Division: Len Rosa, Battle Royal. Second: Atomic, Quick March. Cheltenham Handicap, First Division: Theophilus, Exeter, General Menteith. Second: Flowerburn, Master Coronach, Bonny Pay. Ponui Handicap: Iwo Jima, Balgowan, Bustany.
