Golf Results and Fixtures

The result of the Four-Ball Bogey played on Labour Day as part of the Whakatane Golf Club’s Annual Tournament was: R. Morpeth and T. A. Bridger 1; E. Tilley and S. Snushall 2. A team from the Te Teko Club has been invited to play a Whakatane team on the latter’s course tomorrow afternoon. The matches will be arranged by the match committee and a Four-Ball Bogey will be played in conjunction. This event will be open to all. The final of the Intermediate Knock-out between Dr Dawson and P. Campbell will also be played tomorrow. Although closing day has been set down for Saturday, November 8, it is' likely that, owing to the excellent state of the course, the season may be extended.
