Body In Harbour
The body of a woman was found in the water on the naval base side of the Devonport Wharf, Auckland, at 5.30 on Tuesday morning. She was Mrs Ada Henrietta Lavery, aged 64; widow, of the Sunnymede Rest Home, 6 Oaklands Road, Mount Eden. She had been missing from the rest home since about 7 o’clock on Monday evening. An inquest was opened by the coroner, Mr A. Addison, later in the morning and adjourned.
