Messrs. Farmers’ Auctioneering Co. Ltd. report on their sale at Edgecumbe recently, that prices were again at late rates, the total yarding changing hands under keen competition. Quotations were: Heavy bacon £6 8s to £8 10s; lighter bacon £5 15s to £6 7s; overweight to £6; choppers £5 to £6; buttermilk pigs £4 17s to £5 3s; large stores £4 Is to £4 14s; small stores £2 18s to £3 11s; slips £2 6s to £2 10s; weaners 35s to 395.
