SPRING FLOWERS

TANEATUA SHOW

W.I. GARDENING CIRCLE

The Taneatua Women’s Institute Gardening Circle staged a very successful spring flower show at a recent Institute meeting. Mrs Peck and Mrs Armstrong of Otakiri, were present to judge the flowers after which Mrs Peck gave a very interesting demonstration of bouquet making.'

Awards were as follows: Collection of Arctotis: Mrs Lawn 1, Mrs Sisam 2, Mrs Olliver 3. Three Anemones: Mrs Olliver 1, Mrs K. Tebbutt 2, Mrs Sis&m 3. Three Calendulas: Mrs Butler 1, Mrs Olliver 2, Mrs Sisam 3.

Three Daffodils: Mrs K. Tebbutt T, Mrs Olliver 2, Mrs Grey 3. Three Jonquils: Mrs Fitchett 1. Three Primroses: Mrs Cr ad wick 1, Mrs Olliver 2, Mr§ Butler 3.
