RUGBY DINNER

VISITORS ENTERTAIN

MEMENTO PRESENTED

On Saturday evening members of the United Junior Rugby team were entertained at a dinner in the Commercial Hotel as guests of the Hamilton Old Boys’ Club. During the course of the evening Mr Crighton, manager of the visiting team made a short speech and Mr S. Carter, president of the United Club, replied. ■ Mr Miskell, captain of the Old Boys presented Mr W. Rutherford, United captain, with a miniature fotball autographed by his team as a souvenir of the occasion. This gesture was well received by the local club.

It is hoped that the team will meet Hamilton annually, next time in Hamilton.
