“THE SEARCHING WIND” Tuesday and Wednesday. “The Searching Wind,” a Hal Wallis production for Paramount, based on Lillian Heilman’s successful stage hit, opening at the Regent Theatre. The film stars Robert Young, Sylvia Sidney and Ann Richards, and marks the first assignment for youthful Douglas Dick, latest Wallis discovery. The picture tells the story of a famous American diplomat (Robert Young) and his love affair with a newspaperwoman (Miss Sidney).
