Dangerous Practices
Residents have commented on several very dangerous habits of children in the town. Scaling up and down the quarry face on ropes is one and the other is that of throwing rocks from the road above Hamill’s Garage on to passers-by below. This last is a particularly dangerous and senseless practice. Even a small rock falling from that height could inflict a lot of damage should it hit a person on the head or in the face which it could quite easily do.
