JUNIOR NATIONAL PARTY

MAD HATTER’S DANCE FORTHCOMING FUNCTION What should prove to be a night of unusually bright entertainment will be held in the Awakeri Hall on the night of Saturday, October 18. The event, a “Mad Hatter’s Dance” is sponsored by the local branch of the Junior National Party. The idea is very simple; patrons are asked to roll along informally dressed complete with headgear of decidedly unorthodox design. The madder the hat the more suitable for the occasion—scope is unlimited.

A wide range of unusual novelties has been planned for the occasion so for a night of sparkling frivolity dancing enthusiasts*are advised to attend the Awakeri Hall on October 18.

Freddie Burt’s Dance Orchestra has been engaged to do the musical honours of the evening.

It is anticipated that a large crowd will be in attendance for this evening of unrivalled mirth and gaiety. Further details are advertised in the Beacon.
