Miss R. E. Rowlandson has been appointed' relieving assistant in the secondary department of the Whakatane District High School in place of Mr Whitty who has left and during the absence of Mr ChapmanTaylor. Miss Rowlandson .commenced duties on September 12. Mr C. K. Stubbs, 8.A., has been appointed as the new assistant master in the secondary department at the Whakatane District High School on account of the 1947 re-grading of that department. Mr Stubbs took up duties on September 9.
