Californian Swordfish
A publication recently received from American extols the splendid fishing for striped marlin in the Gulf of California where, it stated, fish “up to 901 b.” were being caught. At Mayor Island, comments a Wellington paper, shch fish would not be much bigger than the bait used to catch striped marlin, the biggest of which last season weighed 4281 b.
