Miss Janie Nepia for the domestics presented Miss Runciman with an Irish linen tablecloth and. a set of silver desert, soup and teaspoons. For the porters, Mr T. Atkinson presented a set of chirkaware, a glass mirrorbacked tray and a silver fruit bowl.
Matron Runciman expressed her warmest thanks, and recounted her many happy asociations with the hospital, its nursing and administrative staffs.
