CORSO APPEAL
CANVASS OF BOROUGH At a meeting of the local CORSO Committee last Monday evening it was decided to make a house-to-house canvass of the Borough on Friday next when the general appeal will be conducted.in the town. To this end the aid of school children, Boy Scouts and Boys Brigade will be enlisted. At the present time a Dominionwide drive in the interests of CORSO is being conducted and it is interesting to note the following returns to date:Wellington £3900 Nelson .. 800 Hawera 750 Gisborne 650 Tauranga 170 Wairoa 120
