Large Daffodil Show
What is forecast as the largest daffodil show ever held in New Zealand will be staged in the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society’s Hall, Lower Hutt, on September 17, when the National Daffodil Society of New Zealand and the Hutt Valley society will combine in staging a spring show. The entries already received are sufficient to tax the -capacity of the large hall to its limit. The show will be opened by his Excellency the Governor-General, who will be accompanied by Lady ITreyberg. -
