The Borough Council has made its usual donation of £2O to the local branch of the N.Z. Plunket Society. Borough Roll Increase The new electoral roll for the Borough of Whakatane as compiled by the Town Clerk numbers 1800 — an increase of 400 on the previous roll in spite of the 250 names deleted for removals- and deaths. The new roll will be advertised for inspection in the hear future. Problem For Borough Application for water and electricity was made by L. P. Evans to the Borough Council last Monday evening for a house on an unformed county roadway.
