New Record Anticipated
Speaking at the annual meeting of suppliers on Wednesday, Mr W. A. McCracken, Chairman of Directors -to the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Company, stated that indications at the present moment seemed to point broadly to the fact that the year’s butterfat production would be a record one. He mentioned that the present record of over 5000 tons was held for 1940 and though this had only been achieved in a good season, he felt certain that providing there were no floods or droughts, the present season would see this figure beaten.
