MOTOR ACCIDENT
CAR AND MOTOR CYCLE COLLIDE A young half caste Maori, Tony Woods, escaped with slight injuries when the motor cycle he was riding collided with a car, driven by Mr M. Lennie, in Salonika Street about 5.30 last night. Woods was attended by Dr. Cole and removed to the Whakatane Public Hospital where an X-ray photograph was taken. The only injury he sustained was a cut toe.
The motor cycle was slightly damaged. '
