PUBLIC VEHICLE PASSENGER 18 BOTTLES CONFISCATED Pleading guilty by letter to a charge of having liquor in his possession on a public vehicle, George Vincent Martin, of Milford, Auckland, was fined £4 and costs (10s) in the Whakatane Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Sergeant Farrell said that Martin was seen getting off the bus on the sth of July last and when accosted admitted having 18 quart bottles with him. The beer was confiscated.
