ANGLICAN PARISHIONERS MEET OFFICERS ELECTED The annual meeting of the Anglican parishioners was held on Thursday. A representative gathering of church people from the four corners of the parish was present. The report and balance sheet, presented by the church warden, were adopted. Election of Officers The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Vicar’s Warden, Mr J. C. Cannell; people’s warden, Mr C. R. Coates; vestry, Messrs. C. S. Armstrong, W. Bishop, D. Scragg, S. T. Keen, H. T. Howell, A. C. Ranby, H. M. Quayle, B. F. Grace, L. McL. Cristall; auditor, Mr T. A. Bridger; synodsman, Mr C. S. Armstrong. 1 Appreciation

Mr C. S. Armstrong moved that a vote of appreciation of the long service of Mr Eric Ramson (retiring member of the vestry) be placed on record. Mr Ramson had been a member of the vestry for over 30 years. The motion was seconded by Mr Wilson and was carried with acclamation.

At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served by members of the Ladies’ Guild.
