IDENTICAL TWINS WANTED RATES OF PAYMENT Again this year identical twins are wanted by the Ruakura Animal Research Station for research purposes. Thanks to the willing cooperation of farms, 41 pairs of twins were collected last season. Identical twins are always of the same sex, must have exactly the same coat colour, head shape, body conformation, pigmentation of ears and similar mouth and tongue markings, whorls and body size. Not too much attention should be paid-to difference in white markings, although the general pattern should be similar.
Farmers who believe that they have a set of identical twins are asked to advise the station by telegraph or letter. Telephone No. 4790, Hamilton, and postal address—Private Bag, Hamilton.
Identical calves will be paid for at £2 a head, plus Id 6d a ( day a calf up to 14 days of age. If for some reason the calves are older than this on collection, the prices will be by agreement.
